very traditional shanxi noodles. noodles are hand made by the chef in the store. the spiciness is so spot on.
Since this restaurant has opened a new chain in kwun tong which is a lot closer to us, we’re finally able to give it a try! This new shop is filled with people, the interior was I’s bright and spacious. The staffs were also really friendly and recommended a few popular dishes for us. We decided to order a few side dishes and one noodle to share. everything looks so good that we cannot decide what to have. At the end, we picked the ones she recommended which was the marinated pork meat, drunken chicken and spicy beef stomach. It was delicious and portion was so big and affordable. the highlight of the night was the main noodle dish which we picked the shedded chicken with marinated spices and sesame sauce. It was a noodle without soup, but surprisingly good! The sauce matched perfectly with the noodles and the portion of chicken was super generous! Overall, the experience was great and above standard, the price is affordable and lovely service.
Famous noodles chain restaurant in Hong Kong, and this particular shop is the best of them all. Highly recommended to visit this shop if you really try that out.
Have loved this place for years. Shanxi-style hand cut noodles with a tasty broth. Quick service and friendly staff more than compensate for the small, often crowded dining area
Hand cut noodles, a bit too doughy but fine as a neighborhood noodle shop. Friendly service. Gets pretty busy so if you go at peak meal times, be prepared to queue. (The foods not really worth queuing for though).
Wish there were more places like this in Hong Kong to get a refreshing cold bowl of Shanxi style knife cut noodles
great portion. another good choice apart from tam jai.
Maybe hand cut noodles are better. Ramen is just ordinary.
